Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Crow and Raven Inc. (“we”), which runs NextGig. By using NextGig you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

The service

NextGig helps you find and apply for jobs: it keeps a career profile, finds and scores roles, researches companies, and drafts writing for you. It's invite-only and in testing, so features will change, and some things may not work as intended.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older and sign in with your own Google account.
• Keep your account secure; you're responsible for what happens in it.
• We may approve, pause, or close accounts, especially while NextGig is invite-only.

Credits

AI work uses credits. NextGig is free through alpha and beta testing: you get a weekly allowance that doesn't carry over, and any extra credits we give you last 12 months. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred. We'll tell you before paid plans start; nothing will be charged without your agreement.

Your content

What you put into NextGig (your profile, résumés, notes, and drafts) stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run NextGig for you, including sending it to the AI providers listed in our privacy policy. Only add information you have the right to share, including anything about people you ask for introductions.

AI output

Match scores, company briefs, and drafts are written by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Check anything before you rely on it or send it, and verify job postings with the employer. NextGig isn't career, legal, or financial advice, and it never applies, sends messages, or contacts anyone on your behalf: you decide what to send.

Acceptable use

• Don't misuse NextGig: no scraping, overloading, probing, or getting around limits.
• Don't upload anything harmful or anything you don't have the right to share.
• Don't use NextGig to harass anyone or to break the law.

Other sites

Job postings and links lead to other sites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Ending things

You can pause or delete your account at any time from Account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service at risk.

Disclaimers

NextGig is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, including that it will find you a job, be accurate, or always be available. We aren't a party to any hiring decision.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Crow and Raven Inc. isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or lost opportunities, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Law

Colorado law governs these terms, and disputes go to the state or federal courts in Boulder County, Colorado.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect; continuing to use NextGig after that means you accept it.
